Delete inside the app

1. Open RoamEV and tap the profile icon in the upper-right corner.
2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Confirm your identity with your password or Google sign-in when requested.
5. Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.

Deletion removes the account’s Firebase Authentication record and private Cloud Firestore document. When the account owns the local dataset on that device, RoamEV also clears its local app data.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the address registered to the RoamEV account. Use the subject “RoamEV account deletion” and state that you want the account and associated cloud data deleted. We may ask you to verify control of the email address before processing the request.

Data deleted and retained

Deletion removes the active authentication account, email and provider identifiers, consent record, and the user’s synchronized backup. The backup can contain saved vehicle profiles, route and place text, trip history, favorites, preferences, charging-session records, and consumption calibration.

OBD-II readings are device-local and are not part of the account cloud backup. They can be deleted from the vehicle-connection screen or by using RoamEV’s local-data deletion control.

We do not keep an active copy after account deletion. Limited security logs or encrypted provider backups may remain temporarily where required for security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or disaster recovery, and are removed according to the relevant service provider’s retention cycle.
